Anti-Bullying Week Odd Socks Day

Our whole school recently took part in Odd Socks Day as part of Anti-Bullying Week. Odd Socks Day is a special day which helps us to recognise the importance of celebrating our unique differences and talents. Across classes, pupils shared their thoughts around importance of respecting and celebrating diversities. As a school, it is important we educate our pupils about anti-bullying and take positive actions to ensure we treat all of our peers with kindness, respect and love. This year, the theme of the week was 'Choose Respect' with the aim of the week being to empower children to not resort to bullying, even when we disagree and have different opinions. It was wonderful to see so many of our pupils coming into school with a combination of colourful and patterned odd socks!
