On the 3rd February, Year 5 were invited to St Mary’s to partake in a ‘Mini Spiritual Retreat.’ When we first arrived, a few students from St Mary’s lead a Celebration of the Word where we focused on journeys and what different kinds of journeys we are all on – the children made some fantastic reflections on their journey through primary school so far and what they look forward to in their futures. We then moved onto some brilliant activities which helped us to develop our teamwork, creativity and problem solving. It was such a fantastic morning and the children were great ambassadors for St Stephen’s.
